Baltimore: Day 3 Reflection

What another jam packed day we had. We continued to do the same work that we had do the previous two days. A third yard was completed and more finishing touches were made on the homes that are going to be dedicated on Saturday. We were told they are setting a record of building three homes in 90 days. A total of six homes will be dedicated on Saturday. We found it touching to hear one of our leaders story. Charles is a great man. We will miss him.

After our work day, we quickly showered and headed off to the Orioles Ballpark. Of course Mother Nature decided not to cooperate and rained us out. There was quite the thunderstorm. We did not let this affect us as we left the park and got some icecream along the harbor.

We are very excited to head down to DC for our fun day. Seems hard to believe that our time on this trip is coming to an end!

Baltimore: Day 2 Reflection

We had another productive day today. Seems hard to believe that tomorrow will be our last work day. We were broken up into two groups. One worked inside prepping three homes for a dedication ceremony tomorrow!!!!! The other group worked all day outside making a backyard transformation by leaving the ground and adding a fence.
It did rain a bit in the morning but that did not stop us from working hard.

Today was extra special as it was Nick C. 17th birthday. We surprised Nick by making a homemade cake! It was delicious and Nick was surprised! This was a great ending to our Taco dinner.

We ended the night by going back to the harbor and walking around and looking in shops. It was a good evening for a walk.

Another proud day to be a BULLDOG!

Baltimore: Happy Bday Nick!

Nick was surprised that a cake was made for him to celebrate his 17th Birthday! We forgot candles so we just spelled out random words from the available letters at the church!
